Raphaël Adelino José Guerreiro is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and the Portugal national team. He was born in Le Blanc-Mesnil, France, to a Portuguese father and a French mother.
Guerreiro joined FC Bayern from Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer in the summer of 2023. He has his footballing roots in France: After spells at his hometown club Blanc-Mesnil SF, the national performance center of the French football association INF Clairefontaine, as well as SM Caen, he made his Ligue 1 debut for FC Lorient in the summer of 2013.
At the international level, Guerreiro has represented Portugal at under-21 and senior levels. He made his first appearance for the Portugal national team in November 2014.
