Leroy Aziz Sané is a professional footballer who plays as a striker (winger) for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and the German national team. He was born in Essen, Germany, and raised near the Lohrheidestadion, Wattenscheid.
Sané has been at FC Bayern since the 2020/21 season. He started out at SG Watteschneid 09 and joined the Schalke 04 academy after just four years.
Additionally, Sané has also played for Bayer Leverkusen as well as Manchester City in the Premier League before he returned to the Bundesliga with FC Bayern. He scored on his league debut for FC Bayern on 18 September 2020 against Schalke 04.
At the international level, Sané has represented Germany at the under-19, under-21, and senior levels. He made his senior international debut for Germany in November 2015 and was part of their team that reached the semi-finals of UEFA Euro 2016.
