Additional Info
Sadio Mané is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays forward for Al Nassr in the Saudi Professional League and for the Senegal national team. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest African players of all time, and he is recognised for his pressing, dribbling, and pace. He was born in Bambali, Sédhiou, Senegal.
Mané was at FC Bayern from 2022 to 2023. He started his professional career with Ligue 2 club Metz at the age of 19, but he left after a solitary season to join Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg in 2012 for a fee of €4 million.
In September 2014, Mané transferred to Premier League club Southampton for a club-record fee of £11.8 million. In June 2016, he signed for Liverpool for a reported fee of £34 million, making him the most expensive African player in history at that time.
Further, before joining FC Bayern in June 2022, Mané picked up all the major trophies at his previous stint with Liverpool, winning the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup (both in 2019), English Premier League (2020) and FA Cup and English League Cup (2022).
On the international stage, Mané has represented Senegal at under-23 and senior level. He made his debut for the Senegal national team in 2012.
