Additional Info
Like his older brother Nathaniel, Trevoh Chalobah joined Chelsea as an Under-9 and passed through the Academy to make it to the men’s first team.
After rising through the youth ranks, he made his debut in senior football in 2018 with the first of several loan stints. He was then recalled to Chelsea as a member of Thomas Tuchel’s team for the first match of the 2021/22 season, and he made a strong impression with a mix of confidence and excitement in the heart of the defense.
2022/23
Chalobah was left waiting for his chance to make an impact when the 2022/23 campaign got in progress, playing only one game in the first two months of the season.
An injury to Wesley Fofana shortly after the club’s win over AC Milan gave Chalobah an opportunity, which proved to be one he seized, playing all 90 minutes of league and Champions League action till the start of the World Cup in mid-November. At the beginning of that run, we amassed six successive victories, with Chalobah dazzling in the heart of defense.
