Alexander Paul Borto had a track record of success for his High School team Gill St Bernard’s, and the Cedar Stars Academy in the United States. He was also a member of the PDA (New Jersey Players Development Academy) and the New York Red Bulls Academy. Alex was invited to train with Fulham on multiple occasions in the years leading up to his official move.
Alex joined the Fulham U18 squad after signing a two-year scholarship deal with the club in August 2020. He earned his first professional deal with the club on April 23, 2021, following a streak of good performances. His contract was extended till 2027 after a strong season in 2021-22.
