Kouassi Ryan Sessegnon is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or left-sided wing-back/full-back for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur. He was born in Roehampton, England, into a family of Beninese descent.
Sessegnon rose through the ranks at Fulham, making his first team debut at the age of 16 in August 2016. He ended that season with 30 appearances and seven goals, as well as being named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year.
Sessegnon joined Tottenham Hotspur from Fulham in August 2019. He also enjoyed a successful loan spell at Bundesliga side 1899 Hoffenheim in 2020/21.
Moreover, in May 2019, Sessegnon achieved the Guinness World Records title for “Fastest time to hit both football goal posts and crossbar,” doing so in just 7.75 seconds.
