Yassine Bounou, popularly known as Bono, is a Moroccan professional football goalkeeper who plays for Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal as well as the Moroccan national team.
Bono began his youth career at Wydad AC in Morocco. He spent most of his senior career in Spain, appearing for Girona and Sevilla in La Liga and Zaragoza and Girona in the Segunda División. With Sevilla, he won the UEFA Europa League in 2020 and 2023.
Bono, who was born in Canada to Moroccan parents, moved to Morocco with his family when he was three years old. Since 2013, he has been a full international for Morocco. He previously represented his country in two FIFA World Cups and three Africa Cup of Nations competitions, having previously played for the under-23 team at the 2012 Olympics.
