Nathan Ake joined Manchester City in the summer of 2020 on a five-year contract that keeps him with the team through 2025.
The 28-year-old defender was recruited from Bournemouth, where he spent three seasons and 109 appearances.
Throughout the 2022–23 season, Ake has been impressive with his reliability and flexibility in the defensive position.
The 28-year-old was subsequently named to the Netherlands team competing in the Qatar 2022 World Cup finals.
