Additional Info
Kalvin Phillips played for Leeds United for the first twelve years of his football career, rising through the ranks from the youth teams to making his professional debut against Wolves in April 2015 at the age of 19.
Phillips joined City in the summer of 2022 but had to miss the first few weeks of the season because he needed shoulder surgery.
But after making a full recovery and rejoining City in early November, he was selected for England’s World Cup squad.
After that, Phillips made two substitute appearances for Gareth Southgate’s team in the tournament in Qatar.
The England international won his first Premier League title when City won their third straight title with just three matches left in the 2022/23 season.
After City defeated Manchester United 2-1 at Wembley Stadium a few weeks later, he added the FA Cup to his collection of honours.
Phillips was a member of the Champions League-winning team that won the Treble to cap off his first season with City.
