At the age of just 17, Michael Olise made his professional debut in the Championship. When he was 19 years old, he progressed to the top division and quickly established himself as one of the league’s most intelligent players.
In July 2021, Olise signed a five-year contract with Palace, becoming manager Patrick Vieira’s first acquisition.
After spending a season with Reading, in which he played 46 games while registering seven goals and 12 assists, the teen from Hayes relocated to south London.
Olise was born in Hammersmith to a Nigerian father and a French-Algerian mother. Before joining Reading’s Academy in 2018, Olise played for Chelsea and Manchester City.
