The child of ex-basketball player Ed Randolph, one of the first Americans to play in the Irish Basketball League. Randolph was raised in Bray.
Before signing on with Charlton Athletic in 2003, he played high school football with Ardmore Rovers.
Randolph has 50 Republic of Ireland caps under his belt and is an accomplished goalkeeper on an international level.
In a friendly match against Oman in September 2012, he made his full international debut after substituting in a 4-1 victory.
He is best known for his assists to Shane Long, a former loan player for the Cherries, in a 2016 European Championship qualifier against Germany.
Randolph played in every game of the tournament after he qualified, but France beat him in the knockout stages. In 2020, he ended his service abroad.
