Marcos Aoás Corrêa, better known by his nickname Marquinhos, began his professional career in Brazil with Corinthians before moving to Europe to play for AS Roma in 2012. And the young, talented defender was able to make it across the Alps in under a year.
The Brazilian youngster was approached by Paris Saint-Germain when he was just 19 years old, and he has since become an integral part of both the French capital club and the Brazilian national team. ‘Marqui’ quickly won the hearts of the City of Lights with his tenacity, dedication, and maturity.
