Douglas Luiz started his career at Vasco da Gama before moving to Manchester City in 2017. The cultured midfielder spent two seasons on loan at La Liga club Girona before joining Aston Villa in the summer of 2019.
Additionally, he signed a new long-term contract with Aston Villa in October 2022.
