Andriy Oleksiyouch Lunin is a professional football player from Ukraine. He currently plays for La Liga club Real Madrid as well as the national team of Ukraine.
He began his football career in the FC Metalist Youth Sportive School and FC Dnipro Youth Sportive School youth football programs. Lunin made his FC Dnipro Opestrousk debut as a starter at the age of 17 in a match against FC Karpaty Liviv.
After graduating from the youth sporting school, he joined the FC Dnipro opestrousk reserves club in 2016. Lunin made his debut in this squad. On October 16, 2016, he was Dnipro’s first-choice goalkeeper in the Ukrainian Premier League, and he featured in a total of 25 matches for the club across league and club competitions.
His performances quickly caught the attention of top European clubs, and in 2018 he signed with Real Madrid, one of the most prestigious football clubs in the world. Although he initially joined as a backup goalkeeper, Lunin has gained valuable experience and development while training with some of the best players in the game as a loan player.
