He was born in Riyadh to a Yemeni family. He plays professionally for Al-Riyadh on loan from Al-Nassr, as does his older brother Ali Yahya.
During the 2019-2020 season, he made the jump to the first team and played in his first Saudi Professional League match, a 1-1 draw against Al-Hazem.
