Enzo Barrenechea signed with Juventus in January 2020. He was born on May 22, 2001, in Villa Mara, Argentina. He first landed in Europe in August 2019 at Swiss club Sion before joining Juventus. He started his career at Newell’s Old Boys.

As the 2020/21 season progressed, he established himself as a key member of the Under 19 squad.

On November 2, 2022, he made his Champions League debut against Paris Saint-Germain. On February 28, 2023, he made his Serie A debut against Torino. He was the first Juventus player to make his first Serie A start in the Turin derby since three points were awarded for a win in 1994/95.
