Jean-Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is a professional footballer who plays as a striker (Center-Forward) for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and the Cameroon national team. He was born in Altona, Hamburg, Germany, to a Cameroonian father and a German mother.

Choupo-Moting joined FC Bayern in the autumn of 2020. He joined FC Bayern from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), but his football beginnings can be traced back to his home city of Hamburg. There he played for Altona 93, FC St. Pauli and Hamburger SV, among others. That was followed by spells at Mainz 05, Schalke 04, and Stoke City in England.
