Jacob Matthew Ramsey is a professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Premier League club Aston Villa. He was born in the Great Barr area of Birmingham, England.
Ramsey is a product of the Aston Villa Academy. He enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2020/21, becoming an important member of the club’s first-team squad. In April 2022, he signed a new contract with Aston Villa.
Also, Ramsey made a name for himself during a loan spell at Doncaster Rovers in 2019/20. The creative midfielder scored three times in seven appearances for Rovers before the season was curtailed by Covid-19.
