In October 2020, Jakub Moder agreed to a five-year deal with Albion after leaving Lech Poznan.
The popular Polish international progressed through Poznan’s youth system prior to getting his first-team debut in April 2018 and playing a season on loan at Polish second-division team Odra Opole.
After making his Premier League debut off the bench for West Brom in February 2021, he started for Albion the following month in a 3-0 win over Newcastle United.
Moder assisted his country in qualifying for the World Cup in Qatar in April 2022, but a week later, in a 0-0 draw with Norwich City, he suffered a tear in his Achilles tendon, ending his season prematurely and inexplicably.
