Jeremy Leonel Sarmiento Morante is an Ecuadorian professional footballer who plays as a winger for West Bromwich Albion on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion and for the Ecuador national team. He represented England at youth international level before earning his senior Ecuador debut in October 2021. He was born in Spain to Ecuadorian parents.
In July 2021, Jeremy Sarmiento signed a two-year contract with Albion after playing for Benfica in Portugal.
Before joining Benfica in 2018, the EX England Under-17 international rose through the ranks with Charlton Athletic.
In September 2021, Jeremy made his Albion debut in the Carabao Cup win over Swansea City. He afterwards made his Premier League debut as a second-half substitute in the goalless draw against Leeds United.
