Neal Maupay is a French professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Brentford on loan from Everton. Maupay started his career with Nice and was a French youth international.
Before signing for Brentford on loan, Neal Maupay joined Everton from Brighton & Hove Albion in August 2022, signing a three-year contract with a fourth-year option. After three years at Brighton, where he scored 27 goals in 109 appearances, the 26-year-old joined the Blues.
Maupay made his name in English football as a mobile, hardworking forward who links play well and has fast, incisive movement. He joined the then-championship club from St Etienne in 2017 and finished the season as the club’s top scorer with 13 goals.
