Paul Wanner is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich. He was born in Dornbirn, Austria and grew up in Amtzell, Germany.

Wanner is a product of the FC Bayern academy and has been a member of the club’s first-team squad since the beginning of 2022. Until 2018 he played for the FV Ravensburg youth team.

On 7 January 2022, he made his professional debut for FC Bayern, becoming the youngest player in the club’s history at the age of 16 years and 15 days.

Wanner holds both German and Austrian citizenship. He is a youth international for Germany. He made his debut for the Germany national under-17 team in August 2021.
