Pedro Antonio Porro Sauceda is a professional footballer who plays as a defender (right-back or right wing-back) for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and the Spain national team.
Born in Don Benito, Spain, Pedro Porro started his youth career locally at Gimnástico Don Benito before moving to Rayo Vallecano in 2015 and then to Girona in August 2017, where he made his senior debut a few months later.
In December 2017, he joined CF Peralada on loan for the remainder of the campaign before returning to the Blanquivermells, where he made a total of 35 appearances in all competitions, scoring once.
Pedro Porro signed for Manchester City in August 2019 but returned to Spain soon after to gain further first-team experience, joining Real Valladolid on a season-long loan.
In addition, he joined Sporting CP on a two-year loan in August 2020 – a deal which was made permanent in July 2022.
An attack-minded full-back, Pedro Porro joined Tottenham Hotspur from Sporting CP in January 2023 on loan until the end of the season, with an obligation to make the deal permanent in the summer.
On the international stage, Pedro Porro made seven appearances for Spain’s Under-21 team before earning his senior debut in a FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture against Georgia in March 2021.
