Phil Foden, a lifelong fan of Man City, was a standout at youth level before moving up to the first team and is considered by many as one of England’s finest players.
The playmaker, who is from Stockport and arrived at City at the U9 level, is now 21 years old and has won four Premier Leagues, four Carabao Cups, two Community Shields, and the FA Cup.
Foden is a talented left-footed midfielder who combines his eye for a pass with a skilled ability to get past defenders, which stood out throughout his spell at the Academy.
In February 2023, the midfielder scored and assisted against Bournemouth to commemorate his 200th senior City appearance.
In March 2023, when City defeated Newcastle United 2-0, Foden became the league’s youngest player to have assisted in 50 Premier League goals.
At the young age of just 22 years and 280 days, he has already scored 33 goals and provided 17 assists since his debut against the Magpies.
In the 2-2 home draw with Crystal Palace on January 18, 2020, the former striker reached the 50-point milestone at the age of 22 years and 290 days, moving Gabriel Jesus into second place on the amazing list.
Additionally, Foden contributed to City’s third successive Premier League victory in May and their seventh FA Cup victory in the club’s history in June.
Foden came on as a substitute in the Champions League final, which Man City won against Inter, and helped them win the Treble.
