Coleman joined the Blues from Sligo Rovers in January 2009 for the infamous £60,000 sum and has since proven to be one of the Club’s most astute acquisitions.

Coleman has 409 Everton appearances by the end of the 2022/23 season, ranking him 17th on the Toffees’ all-time list.

Coleman remained a vital component of the team upon the arrival of Sean Dyche as manager in January 2023, and his effect on the club was maintained during his 14th season with the Blues.

Coleman’s Everton playing career will be extended into a 15th season in June 2023, after the Blues captain signed a new one-year contract until the end of June 2024.
