On September 20, Thiago made his Liverpool debut, coming off the bench during halftime of the visitors’ 2-0 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Thiago completed 75 passes successfully, which is the most by a player who played a maximum of 45 minutes in the Premier League since Opta began compiling passing statistics in 2003.
