About
Abdullah Al-Mayouf is a Saudi Arabian goalkeeper, currently a free agent after a long career in the Saudi Pro League. Born in Riyadh on 23 January 1987, he came through the youth ranks at Al-Hilal and made his first-team debut in September 2004. He went on to enjoy two spells with Al-Hilal, sandwiched around nine seasons at Al-Ahli, before later turns with Al-Ittihad and Al-Shabab. A serial winner, he collected multiple Saudi league titles and the AFC Champions League with Al-Hilal, and was repeatedly recognised among the division’s best goalkeepers. He also coolly converted the decisive penalty in the 2023 King’s Cup final shootout. Internationally, Al-Mayouf represented Saudi Arabia between 2010 and 2019.
