Alfie Doughty is an English midfielder and left-sided wing-back currently without a club after most recently being a free agent. Born on December 21, 1999, he came through Charlton Athletic’s academy, which he joined aged eight, making his senior debut in the EFL Cup in 2018 and earning Charlton’s Young Player of the Year award during the 2019/20 Championship season after 29 league appearances. In January 2021 he signed permanently for Stoke City, with a loan spell at Cardiff City following. He moved to Luton Town in the summer of 2022 as Nathan Jones’ first signing, going on to make 105 appearances, scoring six goals and playing a key role in the Hatters’ historic promotion to the Premier League in 2023, before later joining Millwall.
