About

Brennan Johnson is a Welsh forward who plays for Crystal Palace in the Premier League. Born in Nottingham, he came through the academy at Nottingham Forest, joining at the age of eight before a productive loan at Lincoln City in 2020-21 and a starring role in Forest’s promotion to the top flight. Tottenham Hotspur signed him for £47.5 million in September 2023, and he repaid the outlay by finishing as the club’s leading scorer with 18 goals across all competitions, capped by the winning strike in the 2025 Europa League final against Manchester United. In January 2026 he joined Crystal Palace for a club-record £35 million. A pacey, direct attacker capable of operating off either flank or through the middle, Johnson has won more than 40 caps for Wales. He is contracted at Selhurst Park until June 2030 on reported weekly wages of around £100,000.
