Davinson Sánchez Mina is a professional footballer who plays as a defender (centre-back) for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and the Colombia national team. He was born in Caloto, Colombia.

Sánchez played in the youth academy of América de Cali. He made his professional debut for Atlético Nacional at the age of 17 in his homeland of Colombia and was part of their Copa Libertadores winning side in 2016.

He moved to Ajax in June 2016 and made 47 appearances for the Dutch side, scoring seven goals.

Sánchez joined Tottenham Hotspur from Ajax in August 2017.

At international level, Sánchez has represented Colombia at Under-17, Under-20, and Under-23 levels. He made his senior international debut in November 2016 and was part of his nation’s squads at the 2018 FIFA World Cup and 2019 Copa America.
