About
Enes Ünal is a Turkish forward who plays for Premier League club Bournemouth. Born in 1997, he began his senior career at Bursaspor before joining Manchester City in 2015, though he never featured for the first team and instead had loan spells at Genk, NAC Breda and Twente. After a £12m move to Villarreal in 2017, he established himself at Getafe from 2020, scoring 36 goals in 109 appearances, including 14 La Liga strikes in one campaign. Bournemouth signed him on loan in January 2024 and later made the deal permanent for around £13m. A regular for the Turkey national team with more than 30 caps, the powerful target man saw his progress disrupted by a serious knee injury suffered in training. Ünal is under contract at the Vitality Stadium until June 2027 and is reported to earn around £55,000 per week.
