About
Palacios, 27, arrived at Ipswich Town from Bayer Leverkusen on 27 August 2026, signing a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee. The Argentine midfielder made 126 appearances for Leverkusen after leaving River Plate in 2020, sitting deep and dictating tempo rather than getting forward often. For a newly promoted club, it is a statement signing: proven Bundesliga and Champions League experience going straight into the middle of the pitch in the Premier League.
