Idrissa Gana Gueye returned to Everton from Paris Saint-Germain on the final day of the 2022 summer transfer window for an undisclosed price, signing a two-year contract until the end of June 2024.

On February 25, 2017, Gueye scored his first league goal for Everton in a 2-0 victory over Sunderland at Goodison Park. In the 2016-17 season, he became the first player in Europe’s top five divisions to record 100 tackles.
