Schlupp is one of the most consistent and versatile players in recent Palace history. Schlupp was a member of the prestigious Leicester City team that won the Premier League in 2015–16.

Born in Germany, he started playing for Ghana in 2011. He made the team for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations and scored on his debut for Ghana against Mauritius in June 2015.

Schlupp has since proven himself as a reliable part of the Palace squad, making appearances at left-back, left-wing, center-midfield, and even simply upfront.
