About
Lucas Perri is a Brazilian goalkeeper who guards the net for Premier League side Leeds United. He came through the academy at boyhood club São Paulo, making his senior debut in 2019, before spells with Náutico and Botafogo, where he excelled in Brazil’s Serie A by conceding far fewer goals than expected. A four-year move to Olympique Lyonnais followed, and during his final season in France he made 33 Ligue 1 appearances and starred in the Europa League, including a memorable one-on-one save against Manchester United in the quarter-finals. Leeds signed him from Lyon in July 2025 for a reported fee of around £15.6 million.
