Luke Paul Hoare Shaw is a left-back for Manchester United and the England national team.

Shaw, a product of Southampton’s youth system, made his first-team debut in January 2012. In May of that year, he signed his first professional contract before becoming a fixture in the Southampton club for the next two seasons. Manchester United signed Shaw in June 2014 for £30 million, a world record transfer cost for a teenager at the time.

Shaw made his senior international debut for England in a 1-0 friendly win against Denmark in March 2014 and was afterward included in the FIFA World Cup roster. In the UEFA Euro 2020 final, he scored his first international goal, which was also the fastest scored in a UEFA European Championship final.
