About

Manor Solomon is a professional footballer who plays as a forward (winger) for English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and the Israel national team. He was born and raised in Kfar Saba, Israel.

Additionally, he holds a Portuguese passport, on account of his Sephardi ancestors, which eases the move to certain European football leagues.

Solomon spent his early years at local side Maccabi Petah Tikva, where he made his professional debut as a 17-year-old in November 2016. He scored eight goals in 73 appearances for the Israeli outfit, earning himself a move to Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2019.

Ahead of the 2022/23 Premier League season, he joined newly-promoted Fulham on a one-year loan, following a FIFA ruling concerning the Russo-Ukrainian War, which allows foreign players affected by the war to suspend their contracts with Ukrainian clubs until June 2023.

Solomon signed for Tottenham Hotspur as a free agent in July 2023 (thanks to an extended compensation year by FIFA ruling in favour of ex-Ukrainian leagues’ foreign players).

On the international stage, Solomon has represented Israel at various levels, including at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, Under-21, and senior levels. He made his senior debut for the Israeli squad in September 2018.
