About
Marcel Lewis is an English attacking midfielder, born in Cambridge on 30 September 2001 and currently a free agent. He developed through the Chelsea academy, joining the Blues in September 2016 after early years with Cambridge United, and earned his scholarship in 2018. Promoted to Chelsea’s under-23 side for the 2020-21 season, he chipped in with five goals across his appearances before declining a new deal to sign a three-year contract with Belgian club Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in May 2021. He went on to spend time on loan at Accrington Stanley and later turned out for sides including Cambridge City.
