Pitaluga began his career with the Brazilian club Fluminense. He signed for Liverpool in the English Premier League in 2020. Pitaluga was loaned out to English eighth-tier club Macclesfield in 2022. He made 16 league games for the club before returning to Liverpool due to an ankle injury in November.
