About
Mason Holgate joined Everton from Barnsley on August 13, 2015. He made his professional debut for the Tykes in December 2014 and went on to make 20 League One appearances that season, as well as two in the FA Cup.
During his debut season on Merseyside, the defender put up a number of excellent performances for the Club’s Under-21s, and he was promptly called up for the debut-Team’s pre-season training camp in Austria in the summer of 2016.
He was rewarded for an outstanding pre-season with a senior Everton debut against Tottenham Hotspur on the opening day of the 2016/17 season.
