About
Born in Senegal on 4 August 2005, Modou Kéba Cissé started out at the Be Sport Academy before moving to Spanish side Real Ávila in early 2024. That summer he joined Austrian club LASK, where the towering 191cm centre-back broke into the first team and impressed in the Bundesliga. Strong in the air and composed on the ball, he can also fill in as a defensive midfielder. Aston Villa agreed a pre-contract for the teenager in July 2025, a deal worth around £4m, and left him on loan at LASK for the 2025-26 campaign before he formally joins Villa in 2026.
