Brentford paid Wolves a club-record £23m for center-back Nathan Collins.
Collins, who moved from Stoke to Wolves last summer for around £20m, will become Brentford’s most expensive signing, surpassing Germany forward Kevin Schade, who is 21 years old.
He has played 14 times for the Republic of Ireland’s national team since he was 22 years old. Collins is currently the most expensive football player from Ireland.
