The young defender joined the club from Scottish Premiership champions Rangers on 4 January 2022. He has made 22 appearances for the club so far.
Patterson made his debut for the Club in an FA Cup fifth-round victory against Boreham Wood on 3 March and was set to make his Premier League debut against West Ham United exactly one month later. However, an ankle injury intervened and ended the player’s campaign prematurely.
