Nathan Daniel Jerome Redmond is an English professional footballer who currently plays for Premier League club Burnley as a winger.
Redmond began his career as a kid with his hometown club, Birmingham City. In August 2010, he made his first-team debut against Rochdale in the League Cup second round, becoming the club’s second-youngest player ever at the age of 16 years and 173 days.
Redmond earned his under-21 debut at the 2013 European Under-21 Championship finals after previously representing England at the under-19 level. In 2013, he joined Premier League club Norwich City before moving to Southampton in 2016. He joined Turkish Süper Lig club Beşiktaş just over six years later.
Redmond represented England at youth levels ranging from under-16 to under-21, and he made his senior England debut in 2017.
He is usually used as a wide midfielder. He is right-footed but has played on both the right and left wings, frequently cutting inside. He has also played in the centre behind a lone striker on occasion.
