Nayef Aguerd joined West Ham United from Stade Rennais on a five-year contract in June 2022.He made his debut for the Hammers in a friendly against Reading on July 16, playing 63 minutes of a 1-1 draw at the Madejski Stadium.

On October 27, he made his competitive West Ham United debut in a Europa Conference League game against Silkeborg, which West Ham won 1-0. He scored his first Premier League goal in a 1-0 win over Southampton at home on April 2. On June 7, Aguerd won his first major prize for the club, the 2022-23 UEFA Europa Conference League, in a 2-1 victory over ACF Fiorentina.
