Oliver George Arthur Watkins is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Aston Villa and the England national team. He was born in Torquay, Devon, England.

He began his career at Exeter City, making a name for himself with 26 goals in 78 games for the Grecians.

Watkins became Aston Villa’s club record signing when he joined from Brentford in September 2020. The striker enjoyed a prolific spell with the Bees, netting 49 times in 143 games, including 26 goals in his final season there.

At the international level, Watkins made his England debut as a second-half substitute in a 5–0 victory over San Marino at Wembley in March 2021. He was in Gareth Southgate’s preliminary squad for Euro 2020 before he eventually missed the cut.
