Pervis Estupinan left Villareal and signed a five-year contract with Albion in August 2022.

The defender made his first appearance in the Premier League for Albion against West Ham in August 2022 and went on to establish himself as one of the club’s standout performers as they earned their highest-ever elite finish of sixth and qualified for European competition for the first time.

Estupinan is a solid player for Ecuador and started each of their three group-stage games at the World Cup in Qatar.
