Rico has been with the club since he was eight when he joined the academy.

Rico is a creative and tactically clever player who mostly plays at right-back but can also fill in at the holding midfield area.

Rico started playing for the Under-18s when he was 15 and was chosen as team captain for the 2021/22 season.

He made 17 appearances for City and was named the Under-18s Player of the Year for his performance.

He received his first Premier League start in the latter part of December and kept getting better as City defeated Leeds 3-1 at Elland Road.

Since then, Lewis has been active with the senior team and has established himself as a key player on Pep Guardiola’s first team roster.

He was put on the team that won the 2022/23 English Premier League title, and after three games in the league, he won the 2023 FA Cup.

Lewis was also part of the team that won the Champions League and gave Man City their first-ever Treble.
