Ryan Fredericks turned out to be AFC Bournemouth’s 1st signing after the club’s came back to the English Premier League for the 2022/23 season.

In a first season at Vitality Stadium that was cut short by injuries, Fredericks made 13 appearances, including 12 in the top flight.

He was instrumental in the Cherries’ unforgettable 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest in September 2022 after coming off the bench at halftime. A few weeks later, he made his full club debut in the 2-1 victory over Leicester City.

The defender, who primarily plays right-back, joined the Cherries after four seasons with West Ham in the Premier League.
