About
Tyrone Deon Mings is a professional footballer who plays as a central defender for Premier League club Aston Villa and the England national team. He was born in Bath, England, to former non-League striker Adie Mings.
Having previously been at the Southampton Academy for eight years, the Bath-born defender started his career at Yate Town and Chippenham Town before a move to Ipswich Town provided his big break.
A move to Bournemouth in 2015 saw him make his Premier League debut. He dropped down a division in January 2019 to join Aston Villa on loan, helping the club win promotion to the Premier League through the Championship play-offs.
After signing permanently for Aston Villa in July 2019, Mings’ form earned him a senior England debut against Bulgaria later that year.
